adeventute time helped me get over my last breakup no fuckin joke i shit u not

This is beautiful.
Hello everyone, I appologize for bringing up yet another financial issue but this is a serious problem for me because these rats are part of my family and I’m doing all I can for them but it’s not enough.
Ivan, the one with the lump there, has been on antibiotics for the past 2 weeks or so but his lump isn’t going away. In fact, it’s getting bigger.
The problem is, his vet bills were upwards of 180 dollars already, and on top of that, his cage mate Ichabod has gotten a respiratory infection (This is common in rats but also deadly as it can make them suffocate to death if it’s not tended to)
Here is a clip of what Ichabod’s breathing is currently like: http://jitterbugjive.tumblr.com/post/99649306804
Ivan’s cyst might need to go in for analysis so they can diagnose it properly, and he may be looking at an operation so overall costs could go up in the 300s, and the medication for Ichabod tends to cost around 60 dollars from what I’ve experienced in the past.
I love my babies, I really do, and I want to help them so badly but the costs are just so overwhelming right now and I’m asking if anyone would be willing to help them out.
I’m taking Ivan to the vet tomorrow, but I want to be able to take Ichabod as well so he can get medicine. But I need money to do that, money I don’t currently have because I’ve spent a good deal of what I have right now in order to sell prints at Ponyville Ciderfest and this all happened at once out of nowhere. It was really awful timing, and I’m working on so many projects and things that I owe that I just can’t pile more on myself right now.
So please, if anyone wants to donate to help cover these vet bills, I would be very grateful, and I’m sorry there isn’t much else I can offer right now in exchange for my gratitude since I’m practically bled dry on what I can do.
To donate, go to http://lovestruck-derpy.tumblr.com/ and click the donate button.
And if you can’t donate, please spread the word, thank you.
Alright, so today’s visit cost $134 since it was for 2 rats and a medication for Ichabod
Ivan is the one I’m most concerned about, he’s going to be getting surgery to remove the lump on thursday but estimates are ranging pretty drastically depending on what exactly they are removing.
The estimate they gave me was $274-$640, due to anesthesia, the surgery, lab prep, and pain meds. The big kicker is depending on if its a cyst or a tumor, since the procedure is different for each, so it could be no charge for that or up to $138 on top of the other fees
So, yes, again, donations would still be highly appreciated. If people are doubtful I can scan the estimates and receipt for the visit thus far.
Two days left until Ivan goes in for surgery. Anything helps, thank you so much.
I think this is a squirrel.
I don’t really know though…
A few tips everybody should consider. I’ve experienced all those and some more. I’m not good at english but I hope you get it. Go and support some artists out there and let them draw you nice shit. Not as nice as FairyNekoDesu but still will be cool so give them a chance and you’ll be surprised.
All of these things.
Especially the deadline. If you don’t have a deadline thats way in advanced it’s not gonna get done by then. I am almost always taking on a ton of projects at once and sometimes need a break from it to: work on stuff for me, work on stuff for friends, search for jobs, be the work slave of parents, actually relax and try to relief stress, technical difficulties, researching on how to do stuff, ect.
Sometimes it’s done in a day. Sometimes it’s done literally a year later. But I always update the people I work with so they know I haven’t forgotten.
Do NOT rush your commissioner. Let them work at their pace and it will be worth it. Rushing them insures a rush job which will very likely make the quality decline.
All this is true. Also, ref sheets are the most important thing ever. I can’t stress that enough. They make the job A LOT easier (instead of having to compare 10 different pics between each other and see that everything fits, you just look at 1!!) If you plan in commissioning your character a lot, or even if its not yours (like from an anime or something) Either commission one or look for ref sheets of the show (because there are!).
Also i strongly suggest not using Instant Messaging. Information can be lost pretty easily there and it’s hard to come back to it. Use emails instead. The info stays there, and it’s easy to search for it. It’s also an excellent way to keep track of the descriptions, so if either the client or artist made a mistake, you can see the email threads and see who’s right straight away.
also pushy clients LOVE instant messaging. Pls no.
This post is really nice! :D
